A beautifully balanced antique 18ct gold bolt ring connector from our ICONS collection, set with a bright and characterful old mine cut diamond in a yellow gold cut-down collet.
Originally a functional clasp, this piece has been thoughtfully reimagined into a versatile diamond connector, designed to extend chains, hold pendants or act as a refined feature clasp within a layered look. Slightly more compact than larger examples, its proportions make it especially wearable while still offering presence.
The diamond is lively and full of antique charm — an old mine cut weighing approximately 0.59ct, with a soft warm tone (L/M) and a beautifully open culet. The cut-down collet setting enhances both its size and light return, allowing the stone to sit proudly within the form of the bolt ring.
Crafted in warm-toned 18ct gold, the piece remains in excellent antique condition, with a French eagle head hallmark to the body and a possible second (faded) mark to the bail. The mechanism functions well, opening to allow pendants and charms to be easily attached.
A refined example within our signature connector designs, offering a slightly more understated scale without compromising on diamond presence.
