A wonderfully characterful antique fox, complete with the most delicious little garnet eyes.
Originally created as a brooch, this beautifully textured fox head has been thoughtfully converted into a pendant, preserving all of the sculptural detail and personality of the original piece while making it perfect for everyday wear. The face is modelled with wonderfully defined fur, pointed ears and that unmistakably elongated fox snout, finished with two deep red garnets that glisten from the eyes.
The original brooch was marked “9ct”, although this mark was situated on the fittings removed during conversion and therefore no longer remains on the piece. A substantial 18ct gold bail has been newly added, allowing the fox to slip easily onto a favourite chain or clip into a neckmess.
At just 17mm long including the bail, he is deliciously miniature but has an extraordinary amount of character — perfect worn alone or nestled amongst a collection of antique charms and pendants.
